A thriller from one of the greatest crime writers of today and the bestselling author of The Secrets She Keeps. Are you leading a double life? How is this possible in these days of diminished privacy, social media and fast paced schedules? Michael Robotham crafts this confronting psychological thriller centred on doubt and deceit, heartbreak and adrenalin shocks. He is interviewed by ABC Radio Canberra presenter, Laura Tchilinguirian.

Before becoming a novelist, Michael Robotham was an investigative journalist working across America, Australia and Britain. As a journalist and writer, Michael investigated notorious cases such as the serial killer couple Fred and Rosemary West. He has worked with clinical and forensic psychologists as they helped police investigate complex, psychologically driven crimes. Michael's 2004 debut thriller, The Suspect, sold more than 1 million copies around the world. It is the first of nine novels featuring clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin, who faces his own increasing battle with a debilitating disease. Michael has also written four standalone thrillers. In 2015 he won the UK's prestigious Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award with his standalone thriller Life or Death. He lives in Sydney.

Laura Tchilinguirian was born and raised in Sydney and moved to the ACT at the age of 19 to study Communications at the University of Canberra. She developed a passion for radio while volunteering at Canberra community radio station CSPR (now ArtSoundFM) in the early 90s. During her seven years in Canberra, Laura worked in the news rooms at Mix 106.3 and 2CC/2CA, covering major stories including the Thredbo landslide and the Canberra Hospital implosion. Laura has been a presenter and producer at ABC News Radio since 2009 and at the end of 2016 Laura returned to the ACT as a presenter on ABC Radio Canberra.
