Richard Fidler

Richard Fidler is the author of the bestselling book Ghost Empire and co-writer with Kári Gíslason of the bestselling Saga Land, which was awarded the 2018 Indie Non-Fiction Book of the Year. Richard is best known as the presenter of Conversations on ABC Radio, the most popular podcast in Australia. In another life Richard was a member of Australian comedy trio The Doug Anthony Allstars. His new book The Golden Maze is a biography of Prague.


Rick Morton

Rick Morton is the senior reporter with The Saturday Paper and the author of the bestselling memoir One Hundred Years of Dirt. He is the recipient of the 2017 Kennedy Award for Outstanding Columnist, and his book was shortlisted for the National Biography Award 2019 as well as being Highly Commended in the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards and longlisted for the 2018 Walkley Book of the Year. His new book will be published by HarperCollins in early 2021.


Sunil Badami

Sunil Badami is a writer and academic and teaches creative writing at the University of Technology Sydney. His work has been published here and overseas, including in Best Australian Stories and Essays. He devised and presented the ABC Radio show Sunday Takeaway, plus acclaimed documentaries, including the Priz Marulić-nominated Riddle. Mystery. Enigma. Sunil won the long-running TV quiz show Temptation, which enabled him to re-write the novel he’d spent 13 years on.
