Dervla McTiernan’s debut novel The Rúin, won the Ned Kelly Award for Best First Fiction, the Davitt Award for Best Adult Novel and the Barry Award for Best Paperback Original. Dervla’s most recent book The Good Turn became a number one bestseller on release, confirming her as one of Australia’s best crime writers. Dervla was born in County Cork and now lives with her family in Western Australia.

Chris Hammer is the author of crime novel bestseller Scrublands. Before turning to fiction, Chris was a journalist for more than 30 years, covering federal politics and international affairs. Chris has written two non-fiction books The River and The Coast. His latest novel Silver was published to wide acclaim in 2019.
